Crossfire Ministry began years ago in Asheville, North Carolina, birthed from the vision of two men deeply in love with Jesus and passionate about reaching the world: Randy Shepherd and Jamie Johnson. With basketballs in hand and the Gospel in their hearts, they launched a ministry that has touched countless lives across the globe.

In the past 29 years, the Lord has allowed Crossfire to minister in 68 countries and 47 states, bringing the message of hope and salvation wherever doors have opened. From pulpits to prison yards, college campuses to summer camps, street corners to student rallies, Crossfire has never wavered from its calling: to lift high the name of Jesus Christ.

On September 19, 2024, Randy Shepherd went home to glory. While his earthly journey ended, his legacy continues. Every coach, every team member, every message preached through Crossfire carries a piece of Randy’s heart—his zeal for the Gospel, his compassion for people, and his unshakable faith in the Lord. Jamie Johnson and the Crossfire team remain steadfast, committed to carrying forward what began decades ago in Asheville.

Crossfire is more than a ministry; it’s a family of believers serving together. Whether in local churches, schools, singles’ events, or international mission fields, the goal is the same: to see souls saved and lives transformed.

You can be a part of this ongoing story. By praying, volunteering, or giving, you join in planting eternal seeds. No prayer is too small, and no gift insignificant. Together, we continue the work that God started through Randy and Jamie—reaching the world with the Gospel, one soul at a time.
