About Crossfire Ministry

Our ministries reach far & wide, with the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Churches

Crossfire Ministry has a heart for the local church. Whether through Sunday services, revival meetings, or special events, our team comes alongside pastors and congregations to deliver a clear message of hope, encouragement, and salvation through Jesus Christ. For those who already believe, our mission is to inspire and strengthen their walk with the Lord. For those who have not yet received Christ, we present the Good News in a powerful, straightforward way that allows hearts to be changed for eternity.

Missions

With ministry in 68 countries and 47 states over the past three decades, Crossfire is committed to taking the Gospel to the nations. From small villages to large cities, our team preaches the Word and partners with churches to reach people for Christ. You can be a part of this work! Whether by volunteering with Crossfire on an upcoming mission trip, inviting us to join yours, or seeking help in developing your church’s mission plan, we are here to equip and encourage you to impact the world with the love of Jesus.

Camps

Each year, Crossfire hosts impactful basketball camps that blend athletic skill-building with spiritual growth. Beyond our annual camps, we also offer 1–3 day weekend camps that can be held at your church or local community — whether right here in Western North Carolina or anywhere around the world. These camps are more than just sports; they are opportunities for kids, teens, and adults to grow in faith, develop character, and discover how to use their gifts to glorify God.

Outreach

Crossfire is more than just a ministry team — we’re a family with many different arms of outreach. From softball and basketball leagues to mentorship programs, evangelism events, and one-on-one discipleship, we are committed to sharing the Gospel both locally and globally. Through sports, relationships, and community engagement, our outreach initiatives meet people where they are — on the court, in the field, or in everyday life — and point them to the transforming grace of Christ.

A Message from Crossfire
Thank you for reading this message...

On September 19, 2024, Randy Shepherd went home to be with the Lord
after ongoing health challenges.

Randy had a heart for the lost and every day he lived he was faithful to
share the gospel with those the Lord placed in his path. He always
believed that any individual at any time need to know how much Jesus
Christ loved them. He used the sports platform well but even without a
basketball in his hand he still shared the Gospel. He always said, “It
doesn’t matter what your talent or skill set is, you can share your faith.”

Walking forward, Crossfire will continue to use sports as a way to connect with kids, teens, young adults as well as older adults. The fact is that most people are not in a local church every Sunday therefore they are not hearing a Biblical message weekly from a pastor. This makes it even more important to understand the need to reach outside of church walls and communicate the love of God for His creation.

His perfect son, Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins so that we could trust in Him for our salvation. All the Father in heaven asks is for us to repent, believe and follow his son, Jesus Christ. If you haven’t already done this then it is Crossfire’s prayer you will do that today.

Romans 3:23 clearly says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Our sins separate us from God who is Holy.

Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” But God loves us so much He sent His perfect son to die for us.

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” And because Jesus died for our sins and arose from the grave he is now the way for us to have eternal life and go to heaven when we die. But Jesus Christ is also the way to the Father in Heaven.

John 14:6 says, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Since Jesus died for our sins and arose from the grave and is now asking us to repent of our sins and trust in Him then we have the opportunity to trust in Him with our hearts and follow him for the rest of our lives.

Romans 10:9-10 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Crossfire encourages you to trust your heart and life to Christ right now, don’t wait, place your trust in Jesus today. Just talk to God the Father and tell Him you need to repent of your sin and tell Him you believe in His perfect son Jesus Christ who died for you. Let God know you want to follow Jesus Christ right now. Let Him know, you are committing your heart, all that you are to Jesus right now.

If you made that decision you need to let us know by emailing us so we can help you take your next step in living your life for Jesus Christ. We are proud of you for making this commitment today.

If you did not make a decision to follow Christ then please know it is the greatest decision you’ll ever make. Perhaps you have questions about following Christ and you need someone to talk to then please email us and let us know. Questions are not the wrong thing to have on your heart, what would be wrong is if you had questions yet you chose not to talk to someone. Keep in mind that Crossfire has many athletes who played competitively and some of them had questions too and they asked for help so it’s okay if you do the same. Having questions means it matters to you and it matters to us as well.

May you become our teammate in Christ soon, we know you will not regret choosing to follow Jesus Christ.
